HeArts Ignited
Art Inspired by Nature. Created from the Heart.
Welcome to my little corner of Prince Edward Island, where nature, imagination, and the art of working with my hands come together.
I'm Jules, a self-taught artist creating wood-burned portraits and keepsakes, handcrafted wire tree sculptures, and other nature-inspired pieces.
Living in the quiet surroundings of rural PEI has shaped both my lifestyle and my art. I find inspiration in the natural world, the stories held in our memories, and the beauty of creating something meaningful by hand.
Every piece I make is an individual creation, made with patience, care, and a personal connection to the work.
HeArts Ignited is about more than art. It's about creating something worth keeping.

Made With Meaning
Custom Creations, Made Just for You
Some of the most meaningful pieces begin with a personal story. Whether you're looking for a wood-burned portrait, a memorial keepsake box, or a one-of-a-kind creation inspired by someone special, I'd be happy to discuss your ideas.
Each custom piece is created with care and attention to detail, with the goal of making something personal that can be treasured for years to come.
If you have an idea in mind, I'd love to hear about it. Together, we can explore the possibilities and create something that holds special meaning for you.

The memorial box made below was an order from a husband for his wife. Her father had passed away and she had only one photo of herself and him together. Her husband was correct in thinking this special gift would bring her to tears. Examples like these, be it a cherished person or pet, is what drives me to create custom peices.
Meet the Artist
A Life Inspired by Nature
I'm Jules, a self-taught artist living in a small, off-grid cabin tucked away in the woods of Prince Edward Island. Everything on my propety has been hand woven, along with the studio where I create my work and the tiny house where I live. Building a life and a workspace from the ground up has been an extension of the same patience, determination, and creativity that I bring to my art.
I've spent the past ten years developing my pyrography, creating wood-burned portraits and keepsakes inspired by people, memories, and the natural world. My work has since grown to include handcrafted wire tree sculptures and other artistic explorations.
Living close to nature has shaped both my lifestyle and my artistic vision. I find inspiration in the character of wood, the beauty of the landscape, and the stories that make each person and each handmade piece unique.
I believe there is something special about creating with your own hands, whether it's building a home in the woods or bringing an idea to life through art. Nothing needs to be mass-produced or perfect to have value. Sometimes, it's the time, care, and individuality behind something that make it worth keeping.
HeArts Ignited is a reflection of that belief: a place where nature, creativity, and a life built by hand come together.
"The custom piece I ordered was absolutely breathtaking. HeArts Ignited Pyrography captured every detail beautifully, and it's now a treasured keepsake in our home."
